Induction Task 1

1. Individually research 2 different factual TV shows (stick to a similar genre/style in your group). Use IMDB to find information.
2. Do a 20-shot analysis of the opening.
3. Analyse the codes and conventions of the programme.
4. Share information and create a A3 poster that details all the conventions shared. 
5. Remember to look at the conventions for all different areas
• Characters
• Settings
• Narrative
• Editing techniques
• Camera shot distances, angles and movement
• Sound
6. Decide on a brief for a short 'factual TV' that will replicate these conventions. Focus around BHASVIC (as you will be filming in/around the area). Think about a title similar to 'what are you looking forward to at BHASVIC'
7. Storyboard your factual TV show
8. Shoot!
9. Edit (individually!)
10. Evaluate
